Extra-Klean (EK) Liquid Line Filter Drier

The filter catches unwanted particles such as welding slag, copper chips and other unwanted debris and keeps it from clogging up the thermostatic expansion valves. 

The desiccant absorbs minute quantities of water in the system (which wasn't in the system in the first place).
